By Alex Lang New York (Knewz) — Actor Will Smith was asked to leave the Oscar ceremony after slapping Chris Rock but refused. The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences confirmed in a March 30 statement that Smith was asked to leave the ceremony. A statement from the organization does not specify if Smith was asked to leave before or after winning the Oscar for Best Actor.
