Authorities have charged a South Jersey man with vehicular homicide following investigation of a December crash that claimed the life of a Pennsville Township woman. Stephen M. Karwowski, 30, of Elmer, was driving a pickup truck northbound on Route 49/South Broadway in Pennsville on the evening of Dec. 4 when his vehicle struck the passenger side of a car driven by Genita Townsend, 52, as she made a left from southbound 49 into the parking lot of a restaurant in the 400 block of South Broadway, according to police.
