Bayer Leverkusen will be without forward Amine Adli for the rest of the season after he tore a tendon in his right thigh playing for France Under-21s against the Faroe Islands, the Bundesliga club said Sunday. The 21-year-old has played 34 times for Leverkusen this campaign, scoring four goals. Adli is the latest important Leverkusen player to be dealt a serious injury blow after Germany midfielder Florian Wirtz tore his cruciate ligament.
