Washington (AFP) – Clarence Thomas, the longest-serving justice on the US Supreme Court, was released from hospital on Friday after a week-long stay, the court said. Thomas was admitted to Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington on March 18 with flu-like symptoms, according to the court. The 73-year-old justice was diagnosed with an infection and treated with intravenous antibiotics, the court said.
