But they may be interested in filling it with a veteran on the other side of the ball. According to ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler, the Chiefs are bringing in linebacker Jermaine Carter Jr. for a visit. Carter is a former fifth-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft who has spent all four of his seasons with the Carolina Panthers. This past year saw Carter emerge as a full-time starter for the Panthers.
