Germany’s World Cup winner Mesut Özil has been excluded from the Fenerbahce squad along with team-mate Ozan Tufan, the Istanbul club said Thursday. Fenerbahce did not give a reason for the decision and according to the sports paper ‘Fanatik’ there is no time-frame on when the pair might be allowed to return.
