A large fire was burning Tuesday night at a Pepsi facility in Piscataway, Mayor Brian C. Wahler said. The fire broke out at the soft drink plant on New Brunswick Avenue, near Lakeview Avenue. A manufacturing area of the facility continued to burn around 7:30 p.m., drawing a major response from township and nearby emergency crews, the mayor said. “This is an all hands on deck mutual aid call for Middlesex County,” Wahler said.
