Per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the team signed backup quarterback Sean Mannion to a one-year deal. “So starting QB Kirk Cousins stays for 2022 and now so does Mannion, whom Cousins values,” Pelissero announced on Twitter. Mannion, 29, started one game last season for the Vikings. He completed 61.1 percent of his passes for 189 yards and a touchdown.
