Olympic champion Justine Braisaz-Bouchet of France won the women’s season-ending mass start biathlon World Cup in Oslo on Sunday to claim the small crystal for the discipline title. Braisaz-Bouchet had two penalty loops from misses on the range en route to victory over 12.5 kilometres in 35 minutes 20.8 seconds with Franziska Preuss ofr Germany 7.8 seconds back having also missed twice. Overall champion Marte Olsbu Roeiseland of Norway completed the podium but Sweden’s Elvira Oeberg could finish only fifth, directly behind team-mate Linn Persson, when fourth would have given her the crystal.
