Marte Olsbu Röiseland clinched the biathlon overall World Cup title with one race to spare on Saturday by finishing second behind team-mate Tirl Eckhoff in a pursuit race on Norwegian home soil. Eckhoff won the 10-kilometres pursuit, the day after dominating the sprint, for her third season win and 29th overall at the famous Holemkollen venue. Röiseland led after the third shooting but one miss in the final trip to the shooting range saw her come second, 24.9 back, with both Norwegians missing two of 20 targets.
