Former top ski jumper Richard Freitag of Germany has ended his career after struggling with his form. Freitag said at the weekend’s ski-flying events in Oberstdorf, Germany “I have realised in the past weeks that I can no longer reach my personal goals despite a big effort.” Freitag, 30, won two world titles in team events and Olympic team silver in 2018 while his only individual medal was a bronze at the 2018 ski-flying worlds.
