Ukrainian police in the Kiev region said seven civilians were killed by Russian shelling on Friday in Bucha, located north-west of the capital. In the eastern Ukrainian region of Donetsk, the regional police authority spoke of dozens of dead and injured also in attacks on Friday. The Ukrainian side said that residential areas had again been shelled over the past day. Kiev repeatedly accuses Moscow of targeting civilian locations in the war that began on February 24. Russia denies this, even though the destruction of civilian infrastructure is obvious.
