VfB Stuttgart chairman Thomas Hitzlsperger has ended his contract by mutual consent and will leave the struggling Bundesliga club this month. The team said the 39-year-old Hitzlsperger had agreed with the advisory board to leave his position seven months before his deal was due to expire on October 31.
