Two days after incorrectly claiming he never accepted campaign contributions from the water company that services the city, Bayonne Mayor Jimmy Davis said Wednesday he will donate the money to charity. In a statement, the mayor said he was unaware that Suez donated $1,000 in 2015 when it was United Water and $2,500 in 2017, even though the contributions are listed on his election campaign reports.
