Russian opposition newspaper Novaya Gazeta dedicated its front page to journalist Marina Ovsyannikova on Wednesday, following her on-air anti-war protest this week on Russian state television. The newspaper printed a full-page picture of Ovsyannikova with her placard, which she had held up to the camera behind the Channel One newsreader late on Monday – but pixelated the word “war,” which appears three times on it.
