By David Wetzel New York (Knewz) — The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced on March 15 that it has surpassed $2 billion in COVID-19 funeral assistance. The agency has had more than 300,000 applicants that make up the dollar amount. FEMA also noted it is launching a new outreach campaign and will continue to take applications to make sure the program reaches people in need.
