LONDON (Reuters) – The number of British manufacturers raising prices has hit its highest since at least 2000, according to a survey published on Monday which underscored the inflation challenge facing the Bank of England. Trade body Make UK and accountants BDO said a net balance of 58% of manufacturers had increased their prices in early 2022, up from 52% at the end of a 2021, the fifth quarterly rise in a row.
