The Patriots have decided to use the second-round tender on Meyers while also deciding not to tender fullback Jakob Johnson. This was an easy decision for the Patriots. Meyers is coming off his best season yet after he finished with 866 yards and two touchdowns off of 83 receptions. All three of those numbers were career-highs after he had no touchdowns and 729 yards receiving in 2020. He also caught 59 passes during that season.
