A strong but fast-moving storm has been lashing New Jersey since early Saturday morning, with snow falling in most of the northern half of the state and rain making a gradual transition to sleet and snow in other regions. Up to a half foot of snow is expected to pile up in parts of Sussex, Passaic and Warren counties, with 2 to 3 inches likely accumulating in other northern counties and in parts of Central New Jersey.
