Critic Alexander Zverev is seeing improvement in the Davis Cup format and is now involved in trying to get the team event to his birth town of Hamburg. Zverev told dpa at the Indian Wells Masters that “things are looking very good and hopefully we can bring the German team and the Davis Cup to Hamburg.” The German Tennis Federation had said on the weekend it was looking into hosting games and that Zverev was aiming to help.
