By Hunter Hodies The New England Patriots are releasing a veteran linebacker. Per ESPN’s Field Yates, New England is cutting linebacker Kyle Van Noy. This move will save the Patriots close to $5M in cap space. Van Noy has spent five of his last six NFL seasons with the Patriots and is coming off a stellar 2021 campaign. He finished the season with 66 total tackles (42 solo), five sacks, and one interception that was returned to the house.
