South Africa’s non-governmental organisation, Gift of the Givers, has announced that it will intervene in Ukraine by providing humanitarian assistance. It has been 12 days since Russia invaded Ukraine. In one week, over 1 million refugees fled Ukraine, scores of Ukrainians also left to seek refuge in neighbouring countries.
