Martin Löwström Nyenget claimed his first cross country skiing career win at the most iconic venue in the sport on Sunday when he led a 50-kilometres podium sweep for hosts Norway at Oslo’s Holmenkollen. Nyenget powered down the home straight of the classic style race after more than 2 hours of intense skiing to hold off 2016 race winner Sjur Röthe by six-tenth of a second. Didrik Tönseth completed the sweep 3.5 seconds back.
