ATLANTA — Following a playbook used by Republicans in other states, the Georgia House of Representatives approved legislation Friday that would limit what could be said about race during classroom discussions. House Bill 1084 passed 92-63 in a party-line vote. It is the first of four such bills to reach a vote by one of the chambers during this legislative session.
