German luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz said late Wednesday that it is suspending vehicle exports to Russia and putting a halt to manufacturing operations in the country. “Mercedes-Benz will stop exporting passenger cars and vans to Russia as well as local production in Russia until further notice,” a brief statement from the carmaker read.
