Roger Stone, a longtime ally and adviser of former President Donald Trump, sued to keep his personal phone records from being turned over to the House select committee investigating last year’s January 6 Capitol attack. The committee subpoenaed AT&T for Stone’s phone records from November 1, 2020 to January 31, 2021, which would include metadata such as his cell phone number, contacts and incoming and outgoing call times.
