The Norwegian cross-country sprint team led by Olympic champion Johannes Høsflot Klaebo has been hit by a coronavirus outbreak ahead of the home Nordic skiiing World Cups. Klaebo along with Erik Valnes, Pål Golberg, Håvard Solås Taugbøl and Sindre Bjørnestad Skar have tested positive for the virus, team doctor Øystein Andersen told the NTB agency on Tuesday. “Now it looks like the season is over for me,” Klaebo said in a statement. There is a sprint race in Drammen on Thursday and a 50-kilometre mass start in Oslo on Sunday.
