Mikale Shiffrin took a big step towards a fourth overall World Cup title with victory in the last downhill of the season in France while Sofia Goggia clinched the discipline title for the third time in her career. Shiffrin claimed only her third downhill win from the 74 she now has overall, the American winning in Courchevel one-tenth ahead of Austrian Christine Scheyer and Swiss Joana Hählen who shared second place.
