Germany’s health minister has warned citizens against being complacent ahead of a planned abolition of most coronavirus restrictions on March 20. “The situation is objectively much worse than the mood,” said Karl Lauterbach, referring to over a week of rising daily infection figures across the country. “We cannot be satisfied with a situation where 200 to 250 people die everyday,” he said.
