A man has attacked and injured four people at the university in the north-western French city of Le Mans. The man attacked a lecturer and three students with a knife and a club on Wednesday afternoon, dpa learned from the police. He was arrested and made incoherent statements upon questioning, police said. Media reported that classes at the university were suspended on Wednesday.
