Open defecation The Federal Ministry of Water Resources has called for more commitment from states towards eliminating open defecation, saying that only 76 open defecation-free local government areas in the country is not impressive. The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs Didi Walson-Jack, said this at the opening of the National Retreat for states on the Clean Nigeria campaign in Abuja.
