Weddemulla Tea Factory The Weddemulla Tea Factory, situated in Ramboda, of Agalawatte Plantations PLC and owned by Damro Group, achieved an all-time record price of Rs. 1,080 per kg for FBOPF1 grade in the High Grown category at the weekly tea auction held on 25-26 January. The tea was purchased by Akbar Brothers Ltd. and the sale was conducted by Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC.
