North Korea has launched a medium-range missile, the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff said in Seoul on Sunday. The missile flew about 800 kilometres towards the open sea, the joint chiefs said in a statement. The ballistic missile reached an altitude 2,000 kilometres during the test.
