Philippine National Police (PNP) spokesman Brig. Gen Roderick Augustus Alba said 37 of the violators were apprehended on Friday. Alba said 16 firearms and 217 rounds of ammunition were also confiscated. The PNP said 20 were arrested in Central Visayas and five in Metro Manila.
