By Matt Hladik Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive lineman Ali Marpet will retire from the NFL after seven seasons, according to a new report from ESPN’s Jenna Laine. While Tom Brady’s retirement earlier this month seemed likely to happen before it was announced, Marpet’s comes as a major surprise. The 2015 second-round pick is coming off a season in which he started 16 games and made the Pro Bowl for the first time.
