The creation of a huge indoor painting began on Wednesday in Berlin at a pop-up gallery at the Wittenbergplatz square. The artist Peter Lindenberg plans to complete the 360-square-metre panorama painting, entitled “Rien ne va plus…!?” (Nothing works anymore), on February 10. At 120 metres wide and 3 metres high, the painting is intended to draw attention to today’s digital media reality. “I want to transmit the virtuality of the media back into the visitors’ experiential reality and make it a sensual-visual experience with oversized drawings, sketches and collages,” Lindenberg said.
