Men of the Ondo State Security Network Agency popularly known as Amotekun have rescued 17 travellers who were abducted around Ifira-Akoko, in Akoko South-East Local Government Area of the state. The passenger bus was said to be heading for Abuja from Lagos when it was attacked by a gang of armed robbers and taken into the nearby bush. They were rescued after members of Amotekun stormed the bush and their bus and belongings were recovered.
