The Algerian army announced on Wednesday the seizure of hundreds of kilograms of drugs at the border with Morocco. A statement released by the military said an estimated 2,315 kilograms of kief (cannabis) were seized in the drug bust, as well as 166,857 hallucinogenic tablets. It added that 33 dealers were arrested in total, while other equipment was also confiscated. The joint-military operations took place between 19 and 25 January.
