According to the Dawid Kruiper Municipality, the National Department of Public Works and Infrastructure (NDPWI) is launching a service delivery program as part of the Expanded Public Works Programme’s National Youth Service (EPWP). “The National Youth Service (NYS) Program aims to ensure that jobless youth (18–35 years old) participate in service delivery projects so that they can learn about and enjoy jobs in the artisan field and the Built Environment.” It furthermore said this would be achieved through the Repairs & Renovations of the Labour Centre Project implemented by NDPWI in Upington. …
