SEATTLE — On Feb. 25 around 4:30 a.m., Fire Alarm Center dispatchers received multiple 911 calls reporting heavy smoke coming from a 2-story apartment building on the 3600 block of Woodland Park Ave. N. Engines 9, 17 and Ladder 9 were the first units on scene, and reported visible flames and heavy smoke coming from the front-left side of the building’s first and second floors. Firefighters evacuated the entire building and made entry into the second floor, however they confirmed the seat of the fire was directly below them.
