Two deer stuck on ice in New Jersey reservoirs nearly 60 miles apart were rescued over the weekend. State Park Police and local volunteers freed a deer at Round Valley Recreation Area in Clinton Township and another rescue occurred at Monksville Reservoir in Ringwood State Park, officials said. The rescue at Ringwood State Park took place Sunday morning, according to the Erskine Lakes Volunteer Fire Company.
