PARIS (Reuters) – The European Central Bank discussed the possible consequences of war in Ukraine when it met for a previously-scheduled meeting in Paris on Thursday, ECB President Christine Lagarde said in a Tweet. “The ECB Governing Council used its long scheduled informal meeting in Paris this afternoon to discuss the situation in Ukraine as well as previously planned topics,” Lagarde said. The ECB will next meet on March 10 to debate whether to curb stimulus in the face of rising inflationary pressures. (Reporting by Balazs Koranyi; Editing by Chris Reese)
