Germany, Italy and Hungary are under fire by former European Council President Donald Tusk for opposing harsher sanctions on Russia at an emergency EU summit this week. “These EU government’s [sic], which blocked tough decisions (ie Germany, Hungary, Italy) have disgraced themselves,” the former Polish Prime Minister said on Twitter. “In this war everything is real,” the head of the European People’s Party (EPP) said, “Only your sanctions are pretended.”
