The man gunned down on a Jersey City street Sunday afternoon has been identified as city resident Rasheen Bostick, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said Sunday night. Bostick was shot multiple times in the back on Belmont Avenue near Crescent Avenue at approximately 12:30 p.m. and he was pronounced dead at 12:55 p.m. The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit and the Jersey City Police Department are actively investigating this case.
