Roma coach Jose Mourinho has been handed a two-match ban by the Serie A league after being sent off during a 2-2 draw with Verona on Saturday. The Serie A also said on Tuesday it fined Mourinho €20,000 ($23,000). It said Mourinho made “serious allegations” against referee Luca Pairetto and came onto the pitch in a threatening way to argue and then kicked the ball away. Mourinho will miss the games at Spezia and at home to Atalanta. Roma goalkeeper coach Nuno Santos was also banned for two games, and club manager Tiago Pinto until March 8 for attacking the referee in the tunnel after the game. …
