Elena Curtoni won a World Cup super-g ski race on Sunday in her native Italy while favoured compatriot Sofia Goggia crashed the second week in a row. The day after her fourth downhill and sixth season win, Goggia lost control halfway down the Tofane piste on Cortina d’Ampezzo and crashed heavily. Goggia managed to get up again and ski down to the finish where she was led straight to the medical area for examinations, and reportedly then taken to hospital in Milan for further checks.
