Olympic organizers on Sunday expressed satisfaction with the staging of the Beijing Winter Games amid the coronavirus pandemic. Organizing committee (BOCOG) president Cai Qi named the strict coronavirus measures an “effective paradigm for other international events.” He added in general terms that “we have done a good job in hosting the Olympic Games” which he named “fantastic, extraordinary and excellent” ahead of the closing ceremony later in the day.
