Record three-time Olympic champions Canada gained some solace in the Beijing Games men’s curling competition on Friday when they took bronze by beating 2018 winners United States 8-5. The Canadians lost to Sweden on Thursday when Britain surprised the the US in the other semi-final. The men’s final is on Saturday and has been put back by 45 minutes to 0650 GMT to allow more television viewers in Sweden and Britain.
