Syrians commemorated on Tuesday the 11 year anniversary of the anti-regime graffiti considered by many to have kickstarted the Syrian revolution. On 15 February 2011, a number of school children took to the walls of a local school in the Hay al-Arbeen district in the southwestern province of Daraa writing “it’s your turn next, Doctor”, referring to President Bashar Al-Assad, as the Arab Spring uprisings spread across the Middle East.
