Following a meeting with African leaders in Brussels, Belgium, French President Emmanuel Macron announced the withdrawal of French troops from Mali. On Thursday, Macron made the announcement while speaking in Brussels. Macron stated that the European Union and France no longer have the same priorities as the Mali administration.
